Smartscan Service and Repair
The Smartscan Service and Repair Department is proud of its fast and friendly service on all service and repair requests. At Smartscan we appreciate that production down time is of paramount importance. The Service Dept. has a wealth of product knowledge and will endeavour to provide help directly over the phone wherever possible.
We have a range of loan guard options where customers find themselves in a machine breakdown situation. We of course recommend that customers keep a spare on site where at all possible. All Service work is covered by a 3 month warranty and includes a full product check up during the Service.
Sending repairs to Smartscan – If a fault occurs that cannot be resolved or the equipment is damaged then simply return the system to the nearest Smartscan Distributor or to Smartscan Ltd. Please indicate the nature of the fault / damage and the symptoms displayed on the Service return questionnaire provided. The questionnaire helps us to speed up the time taken to repair the product.
Please note that as a Type Approved safety device all returned light curtains must be matching serial number pairs. This is to ensure total system integrity and to allow the Service department to carry out a full and proper inspection of the returned light curtain system.
